Social Skills Group

A social skills group is a structured, supportive environment where children can learn and practice important social behaviors, communication techniques, and emotional regulation strategies. The group focuses on helping kids build confidence in social situations and develop skills for interacting with peers in a positive, respectful way. This includes:

  1. Small Group Setting

  2. Facilitator-Led Activities

  3. Conversational skills, Emotions, Turn-taking, Non-Verbal and Verbal Communication, Problem-Solving, and Friendship skills

  4. Peer Modeling

  5. Safe and Supportive Environment

Social Skills Groupings

  • 8-week structured social skills group for a 3-hour duration

  • 8-week structured social skills group for a 1.5-hour duration

  • 8-week structured social skills group for a 1.5-hour duration
